WHAT TO EXPECT AT WWDC 2021:

Software:

iOS 15

iOS 15 may bring new notification settings, tweaks to the dark mode UI, updates to iMessage, making it more of a social network and competing with WhatsApp.

iPadOS 15

Speculations include widget support on the entire home screen, making the UI more like a computer.

We could expect Apple’s Pro apps coming to iPadOS following the announcement of an M1-based iPad Pro.

Recent reports suggest that Apple has given Zoom special access to a private Apple API hinting at Center Stage support and other improvements in video calls from Apple’s devices.

MacOS 12

Making MacOS work even more effectively and efficiently on Apple’s custom M-series chips (and between all devices) will be the focus of this year’s release. You will also see improved support for iOS apps, but the highlight will be creative and professional apps, testimonies from key developers, and perhaps some more surprises.

WatchOS 8

New watch faces and additional complications seem inevitable. The update would mainly focus on bringing in more health features to WatchOS and better integration with Fitness+.

We may also be told about swim tracking in the Fitness app. We’ll almost learn more concerning recent studies regarding the watch and heart health and COVID.

tvOS 15

The tvOS 15 operating system is expected to come with a design refresh, a fresh new mode for children with advanced content that Apple will add to the Apple TV+ subscription service. The AppStore will also undergo change and will offer a more convenient interface than what exists today.
