Porsche announced the Sixth Generation of its Porsche Communication Management recently with advanced ai and multiple new features.
Porsche’s new infotainment system the 6th generation of Porsche Communication Management System was recently announced and is all set to debut with the upcoming 911, Cayenne, and Panamera models this summer.
The new system also comes with a new and improved UI layout, a better color scheme, new icons, and a new font style
The new software includes various new features and an advanced AI that the German automobile manufacturer claims can understand the driver.
The premium sports car manufacturer has been working with Apple and has been the first car manufacturer that includes Apple Podcasts built into its infotainment system. This year they have further improved the integration with Apple Music and Apple Podcasts using Wireless CarPlay.
It is also the first time that the company would support Android Auto hence giving Android users a better experience using the infotainment.
The software system carries a new AI which now lets you give commands without taking their hands off the steering wheel or their eyes of the road, a simple “Hey Porsche ” would do the trick.
The assistant can control various controls within the display such as brightness, volume, etc. It can also control the AC temperature, seat temperature, massage seat, ambient lighting, and a lot more.
The PCM 6 can understand the driver and play just the right music for the Driver’s driving style. “We have succeeded in combining the classic radio experience with the modern streaming experience,” said Manager Navigation and Infotainment at Porsche, AG Martin Bayer.
